Jon Eric Thalman

Jon Eric Thalman, Senior Director, System Performance, Reliability and Resiliency Strategy is responsible for developing second life models that represent risk and potential risk reduction due to workplans spatially across the electric transmission and distribution system. These models currently provide insights that guide the prioritization of electric system workplans from inspections, maintenance work, and asset replacement to vegetation management, and system hardening.

Jon Eric joined PG&E in 1996 as a Transmission Planner and has lead teams with responsibilities in both transmission and distribution asset strategy and planning, as well as regulatory strategy, vegetation management, and corporate strategy.

Jon Eric holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and a Master of Science degree in Electric Power Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a licensed Professional Electrical Engineer in the state of California.
